CA London: the Capital as a Classroom

At Centre Academy London, we are fortunate to be located in what is arguably one of the most exciting cities in the world. In essence, this means that our classrooms are augmented by the nation’s capital itself.

Accordingly, we make frequent use of London’s cultural, artistic and historic riches. Certainly, visits to the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum, art galleries and theatres are intrinsically educational. But for our students, they are also social events that give them the opportunity to put into practice the socialisation and related skills that are part and parcel of our overall program.

The Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, the IMAX Cinema, Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery are only a few minutes from our campus. The Old Vic and many of the other storied theatres can be reached in twenty minutes or so, with Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the Tower of London only a bit further down the River Thames.

Our London location provides us with choices that are as broad as the imagination—and our students are the richer for it.
